Though, sometimes all you get is a big steaming pile of items worse than what you already have equipped. It’s a crap shot. But even then, there’s just something about the excitement of opening the golden chest and waiting to see what’s inside. Sometimes luck is on your side and sometimes it’s not. If you’re just starting your Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands adventure or have yet to dive in, you’re going to need to know how to redeem shift codes and where and when to use the skeleton keys. In this guide we’ll walk you through how to redeem codes and where you can use the keys once you’re in the game. We’ll also list all current shift codes that are available so you can plug them in and get that loot. Keep in mind, that most shift codes will have an expiration date. But new codes will pop up all the time and fairly often. So you’ll always have more chances to get additional skeleton keys if you miss a code or two.

How to redeem shift codes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

There are two ways to redeem shift codes. Of course before you redeem them, they must either have been bestowed upon you or you’d have needed to find them some other way. I for example share all the new ones with a friend who plays so they don’t miss out. Once you have said codes, and if you’re attempting to claim them before the expiration date, you can redeem them in one of two ways.

Redeem your Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands shift codes on the web

The first way to redeem the shift codes is online. For some this is going to be the easiest way. And quite frankly we’d agree since all you’ll need to do is copy and paste a code then click the check button. No typing anything out. To redeem shift codes from the web, head to shift.gearbox.com and make sure to login with your shift account. This will need to be the same account that you have tied to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, otherwise those shift codes will be going to waste. Once you’re logged in, you should see a box in the top left of the screen with a few different pages. Click on the rewards page to go straight to the section where you can redeem shift codes. The omnibox for redeeming shift codes will be at the very top. But before you proceed to type in or copy and paste the code, make sure you’re redeeming the codes for the right platform. Below the code box there’s a dropdown menu with the platforms you can play the game on. Click on this and swap to your chosen platform if it’s not automatically selected when you first get to this page. In my case it was PSN since I’m playing on PS5. Also worth noting is that if you want to see how many codes you’ve redeemed so far, those are listed here as well. Separated by game and labeled with a date.

Redeem your Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands shift codes in-game

If you’re already in the game and don’t feel like pulling up the shift codes website, you can redeem the codes directly from the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands menu. On PlayStation, hit the options button to bring up the menu. Then select the social menu. Once this menu opens up you’ll be on the roster tab. Hit the R1 button to move over to the shift tab. There you’ll be able to enter the code and then redeem it. And that’s basically that. You can come back here anytime you have a new code to redeem that one as well.

Where to find your skeleton keys

Now that you’ve redeemed your shift codes, you’re probably wondering where you can find the skeleton keys that the codes give you. This is simple. Launch Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and once again open up the menu. Once again, on PS5 and PS4 this will be done by hitting the options button to bring up the menu. Then go back to the social page, and just one tab over from the shift tab is the mail tab. Any skeleton keys you get will be tossed in here for you to grab. And once you have the keys in your inventory, you can use them at any time in-game. Well, not any time. You’ll need to be in the location of the chest and you can’t just pop over there whenever you want. If you’re in the middle of a mission for example, that’s probably not the best time to fast travel back to where the chest is.

Where to find the golden chest

You’ll find the golden chest inside of Brighthoof, but only after you reach a certain point in the game. Luckily it doesn’t take more than an hour to get to this point. After you reach Brighthoof for the first time, you’ll need to save the town and gain special favor with Queen Butt Stallion. Trust me, you’ll know when you’ve completed this step. After you save Brighthoof, the golden chest will appear in town. It’s located at the foot of the stairs as you approach the statue in Hawker’s Walk. Now remember, each skeleton key can only be used one time to open the golden chest. So you’ll have to decide whether or not you want to save them for later in the game when you’re higher level, or get some potentially great loot early on. If you’re like me, the temptation is too great to save your keys. Especially since you know you’ll be getting more. Just be aware that even if you get some really good loot early, you’ll most likely outgrow it quickly. So that’s the tradeoff.

Current shift codes that are available to redeem

If you’re looking for shift codes you’ve come to the right place. These are the current ones that still work. And as far as we know there haven’t been any more that have been officially shared. As noted earlier in this post, shift codes will be posted in a number of different places. Including on social media, and sometimes given away in contests. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see them show up alongside a product promotion or two. With all of that said, here are the current known shift codes you can still redeem. Along with their expiration dates.

Those are all the current codes we know about. Sometimes shift codes end up never expiring. And while this is probably intended, most of them will only last for up to a week. Depending on when they pop up. We’ve also personally checked all the public codes that are still floating around and they’re expired. Still, we’ll list the expired ones below.
