Motorola teases an event happening in February
We’ve all been waiting on the next big Motorola Flagship to launch. Last year, we sadly didn’t get a new Razr; instead, we got several Motorola Edge phones. Well, according to a recent tweet, we can probably expect a new flagship phone from the company coming real soon. The tweet shows a picture of a city with a silhouette of a phone right in the middle. Above the phone, we have the Motorola logo and below it, we have the date February 24th. This means that Motorola is going to be having a launch event in a couple of weeks. The silhouette of the phone doesn’t tell us much information, but the hashtag on the tweet tells us a lot; it says #findyouredge. The fact that we see the word “Edge” means that Motorola will be launching another Edge device during the February event. If the rumors are correct, the company could be talking about the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. That phone is expected to be a rebrand of the Motorola Edge X30 but for international markets.
What will the Motorola Edge 30 Pro pack?
There have been leaks and rumors surrounding this phone, and they all point to a pretty powerful device. Firstly, it will have a 6.7-inch OLED display that can run at up to 144Hz and support HDR10+. What’s unique about that display is that it will be curved at the edges. This means that the edges will cascade over the sides of the phone. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC which places this phone in the flagship league. There will be two variants of this phone: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both variants should give you good performance, as 8GB is pretty much standard nowadays. As for the camera, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will have a triple-camera setup. There will be a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, there will be a large 60MP selfie camera that will live in the punch-hole. There’s not too much more information that we know about this device. However, Motorola will be revealing all during the February event.
