These images show the Motorola Edge 30 from different angles
There were a handful of images leaked by the source, and they don’t leave much to the imagination. For starters, we see that these phones retain the familiar Motorola design language present in modern Moto phones. This phone looks to have a glass back with the Motorola logo right in the center. The triple-camera setup is housed in a little glass module that’s slightly raised. The volume rocker and power button are both on the right side of the phone, and they don’t seem to be as high up as with the Motorola Edge+ 2022. As for the “Edge” part of the name, there doesn’t seem to be one. The first Motorola Edge phone had an extreme curve to the display, and the Edge+ 2022 has a curved backside. The Motorola Edge 30, based on the images, looks flat on both the front and the back. Both the front and back tuck neatly into the frame. As for color options, based on the images, it looks like this variant of the Motorola Edge 30 will have three color options. One is a dark blueish gray, one is a silver color, and one is a light blue color. They probably have more inventive and gratuitous names, however.
What specs should we expect from this phone?
Based on the recent leaks and rumors, the Motorola Edge 30 won’t really be a show stopper in terms of specs. It’s expected to be powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. As for storage configurations, this phone might have 128GB and 256GB of storage. As for the display, it looks like this phone will have a 6.55-inch 1080p+ POLED display that can run at an impressive (and unnecessary) 144Hz. Uptop, this phone will keep the middle mounted punch-hole. For the camera, the Motorola Edge 30 is expected to have a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, there could be a 32MP selfie camera. These sensors are expected to use pixel binning. Lastly, this phone might be powered by a 4,020mAh battery. While the battery isn’t all that large, it could be charged by 30W of power. You should look forward to an official announcement before the month is out.
