OnePlus is being very aggressive here with these prices, and it’s something we love to see. Remember the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO2 AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh capacity battery with 65W charging (80W elsewhere in the world). It also has upgraded cameras over the 10T. With a 50-megapixel main sensor, 48-megapixel ultrawide and a 8-megapixel telephoto sensor on-board here. Making it a really impressive smartphone to pick up these days.
Is the OnePlus 10 Pro still worth buying?
Yes, it’s definitely still worth buying. Firstly, it’ll be the first phone to get upgraded to Oxygen OS 13, which will be based on Android 13 in a few months. Likely around October. Secondly, OnePlus also outfitted the 10 Pro with Hasselblad cameras and processing, wireless charging, and a larger battery, to name a few things. There’s also the Alert Slider on the OnePlus 10 Pro, which was removed from the OnePlus 10T. Among many other things. It’s still a really great phone to pick up, especially with that larger battery. Though with the increased charging speed on the OnePlus 10T, it’s not that big of a deal. The OnePlus 10 Pro at $799 undercuts a lot of the competition. Based on the screen size, it competes with the Galaxy S22 Plus and Pixel 6 Pro, which are $999 and $899 respectively. And the Galaxy S22 Plus likely won’t get a price cut when the new foldables are announced next week, since they aren’t really competing.
