As you can see in the images below (and above), the OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds feature a completely different design than the company’s Buds and Buds Z series TWS offerings. We still have a stem here but it’s short and flat, rather than a cylindrical one we are used to seeing in these kinds of audio products. The stem also gives an impression as if it’s attached to the ear tip instead of extending from the angled silicone part. There appears to be a physical button on top of the stem with a gold coating. The rest of the product is in black. It could also be available in more color options though. These buds will come in a boxy charging case with the OnePlus logo embossed on top. It’s worth mentioning here that these renders are based on “the live images of final prototyping stage units” and not the real product design. OnePlus may still make some minor changes (or even major) to the design of the final product. The overall shape and size will probably resemble these renders but there could be some differences in terms of detail.
What would the OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds have in offer?
These would be the first-ever Nord-branded earbuds from OnePlus. And much like the Nord series smartphones, the company might be looking to offer more for less here. The new report suggests this pair could come with premium features like ANC (active noise cancelation) and low latency for gaming while keeping an affordable price tag. But unfortunately, these are mere speculations as of now. We don’t have any confirmed info regarding the specifications and features of the upcoming OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds. As said before, the company already has two TWS lineups — the premium Buds series and the affordable Buds Z series. It’s unclear where the Nord lineup will sit: in between the two existing products or below the latter. It will certainly not top the premium Buds products. We expect to hear more about the new TWS offering from OnePlus in the coming months as the company prepares for its launch. We will keep you posted accordingly.
