If you don’t know what Tidal is, it’s a music streaming service that focuses on high-quality music. The highest tier gives the user access to extremely high-quality music up to 9216 kbps, which is pretty insane. You also have Dolby Atmos, Sony 360 Reality Audio, and HiFi audio. It’s definitely for audiophiles who want the most from their music. Along with more than 90 million tracks, you also have access to more than 450,000 videos. There are several more features, but just know that this is for the premium $19.99/month. There are cheaper tiers available, so you can check them out here.

The Tidal early access program is coming to Android

People like to try out the new features coming to Tidal early, and so the service has an early access beta program. Folks who invest in the highest-tier plan get an email letting you know about the beta program. You’ll be able to be among the first people to try out new stuff coming to the program. However, if you’re an Android user, you’ve been out of luck. Only the people in iOS land are able to join the program. That’s about to change, fortunately. According to the announcement post, Tidal will be “rolling it out for Android shortly.” We’re not sure when the program is going to come to Android phones. We’re all used to services and apps arriving on iOS before Android. This is something that happens even on Google apps of all things. If you’re looking to be front and center for new features, then you might want to consider getting the premium tier plan for the service. There’s also a $9.99/month tier and a free plan. Those, however, don’t allow you into the beta program.
